The short version. If you join the waiting list we keep your email address, the date you joined and a record of your consent. We use it to tell you when Undercut launches and to send occasional bill-saving tips. We never sell or share it. Unsubscribe in one click from any email, and we delete you from the list.
Who we are
The data controller is CPI Attero Limited, registered in England and Wales, company no. 08646363, registered office Copia House, Great Cliffe Court, Dodworth Business Park, Dodworth, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3SP. We trade as Undercut at undercut.money. You can reach us at info@cpi.holdings.
What we collect, and why
- Your email address — so we can email you about the launch and send bill-saving tips.
- The date and time you signed up and confirmed, the wording you agreed to, and the IP address you signed up from — so we can show that you asked to hear from us, as the rules require.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site running.
That's everything. We don't ask for your name, your address, or anything about your bills at this stage.
Our lawful basis
For the waiting-list emails, your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the box on the sign-up form. You can withdraw it at any time and that won't affect anything we sent before you did. For keeping the site secure and available, our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising tracking and no third-party pixels, which is why you aren't being shown a cookie banner. If that changes before launch we'll ask your permission first.
Who else sees your email address
- Resend — our email provider, who sends the messages on our instructions.
- Vercel — who host this website.
- Supabase — who host the database holding the waiting list itself and the record of your consent: your address, when you signed up, when you confirmed, the exact wording you agreed to, and the IP address you signed up from. We keep that so we can show, if asked, that you chose to hear from us.
Both act as our processors under contract and may store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent safeguard. Nobody else gets your details, and we never sell or rent the list.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months after your last interaction with us — whichever comes first. After that we delete your address, keeping only a minimal suppression record so we don't accidentally email you again.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it over in a portable format. You can object to our using it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@cpi.holdings and we'll deal with it within one month.
If you think we've got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd rather you told us first so we can fix it.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data we'll update this page and, where the change is significant, email you about it.
